A long day

Although things went faster on day three, it was still a very long day. In addition to gluing up everything, I routed the rounded ends, and then did all the finishing sanding with the ¼-sheet sander (using 180, then 240 grit finishing paper) and the sanding block.
I decided to keep the shelf in three pieces so that it could be disassembled for moving: the body, the angled support for the top, and the top. In situations like this I use brass countersunk washers to set the screws.
Next, the toughest step: cleaning the entire shop when tired. By this stage, there's sawdust everywhere, so it takes more than an hour of sweeping and vacuuming.
