he first hints of autumn: the days are still warm, but now the nights are cooler; the Maximilian Sunflowers and the Rabbit Brush, the last bloomers of late summer, are now flowering; and the grand old cottonwoods are just starting to turn.

Contentment by design

A stylized lion seen from the side, in colors of tan, orange and burnt orange, lying on its belly with its legs stretched out. I imagine it purring. The lion has been my personal mark for this website for many years.
